With support from STEM CORE, the research of UO scientists Dave Sutherland and Alan Rempel from the Department of Earth Sciences was the inspiration for an “IcePosium” event on April 7th that involved every student at Arts and Technology Academy (ATA) Middle School in hands-on activities led by the scientists, a cadre of UO student volunteers, and other community members.
